UK accent (Received Pronounciation) workshop with Leith McPherson. An opportunity to work on or refresh your RP accent. 

Bio of host:

Leith has worked as a dialect, voice and acting coach for theatre and music theatre, film and television since her graduation from the Voice Studies Course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London in 1998. She taught on the acting programs of several London drama schools, and worked with professional actors and business leaders in the UK, before moving back to Australia and taking a position as Lecturer in Voice at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts from 2003- 2008. Leith completed her Master of Arts (Creative Arts) while at WAAPA, focusing on Shakespeare’s verse and the training actor. In 2009, Leith moved to Melbourne and began working with the Melbourne Theatre Company as a dialect and voice coach, and also as assistant director on their productions of The Weir, Hamlet and Richard III.   In January 2011, Leith moved to New Zealand to work as Dialect Coach on The Hobbit trilogy, directed by Sir Peter Jackson and returned to Australia in 2014.
