Whether you are a dancer, an actor, a musician or a circus artist, your body is your instrument. Your performance is only as good as your movement allows, and your ability to keep performing in the long-term depends on how well you can care for your body alongside the demands of practice and performance. The Feldenkrais Method will help you find your ideal balance of artistic freedom, body control, and physical resilience. It can also help you prevent and recover from your performance related injuries and support your wellbeing on stage and off. Joining a Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement Class will show you how small and subtle changes in movement habits can make big differences to your confidence, quality and safety in performance. The work will help you to break free of habitual, restrictive movement patterns and to find easier ways to move.
