A workshop with actor, director and vocal teacher Cameron Rhodes

Cameron will focus on connecting impulse/ instinct with breath, voice and script.  You will explore connecting to your authentic voice, how to energise words and text. Through practical warm up techniques, you will learn to ready yourself  and "get in the zone" for rehearsal and performance for stage, voiceovers and screen. This is will be an exciting and invigorating workshop, with stimulating exercises and techniques that you can apply to rehearsal, performance and teaching   

Bio:

Cameron Rhodes is an accomplished actor, a graduate of Toi Whakaari he has appeared in over 80 theatre productions including Tartuffe, Loot , Assassins for Silo and Mary Stuart, The Importance of Being Earnest and She Stoops To Conquer for ATC and Carnival of Souls at the Auckland and Sydney Festivals. He has acted in numerous films, including MrPip and Lord of The Rings, TV roles and voice-overs. He also directs, teaches voice and acting technique, at Unitec and is a board member  of The Actors' Program. He has run a number of workshops for the Auckland Theatre Co., Massive Theatre Co. and for actors and drama teachers
