Does social media hurt your brain? Social media is a complex and challenging marketing tool for a lot of creatives and this livestream – Social Media for Creatives – is a friendly and up-to-date workshop that covers the basics of how to kickstart marketing using social media, with a focus on the main tools at your disposal and the strategy behind the socials.
Participants will also find out more about:
Finding and building your ‘tribe’;
Choosing the right platform to engage with clients, customers, fan, friends and more;
Tips and tricks on staying up to date in an ever-changing social media world.
Resources and templates will also be provided to create a social media marketing action plan. You will have access to a dedicated Dropbox folder jam packed with resources. All questions are welcome in this relaxed, safe and inclusive workshop. Participants are also encouraged to share their own experiences and network with their fellow practitioners. Please note: This event will take place from 12-1.30pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time (NSW/VIC/TAS time) and 2pm-3pm NZ time.

  • Monica Davidson

    Monica is an award-winning expert on the creative industries, who began her professional life as a freelance journalist, performer, and filmmaker. Monica has a Masters degree in Screen Arts and Business from AFTRS, and was appointed as Australia’s first Creative Industries Business Advisor in 2013. In 2016 Monica founded the social enterprise Creative Plus Business, an organisation dedicated to educating creatives about business skills, financial literacy, wellbeing, and marketing.
