The Equity Foundation works alongside the National Performers’ Committee of MEAA Equity to develop programming that goes to the heart of performers’ needs – skills development, community building, international training opportunities and much more. Through the Foundation MEAA Equity champions wellness, diversity, equality and inclusion industry wide.

Member benefits
In 2018-2019 Equity recovered over $195,000 for members. Every quarter Equity distributes over $1.5 million in residual payments to performers. Through the Equity Foundation, Equity membership includes access to hundreds of free events and initiatives annually.
