Synopsis

Join professional voice artist Alexandra Lopez for an essential introduction to the voice over industry, designed specifically for acting graduates ready to expand their career opportunities. Represented by Scout Management and specialising in coaching beginners, Alexandra will guide you through the unique skills and techniques that set voice work apart from stage and screen acting. You'll learn who to connect with in the industry, what equipment and training you'll need to be audition-ready, and how to stay productive and sharp between jobs. Whether you're curious about voice over or ready to dive in, this session will give you the practical knowledge and insider perspective to confidently navigate this exciting avenue of your acting career. Who is this for? This webinar is designed for actors with training and performance experience who are new to voice over work. If you've got acting skills but want to understand how to translate and adapt them for the microphone, this is for you. Recent graduates are especially welcome, though anyone with acting experience looking to add voice over to their skillset will benefit from this beginner-focused session.     Alexandra Lopez is the warm, trusted voice that guides you home—and helps you find your own. As CEO of Alexandra Lopez Studios, she's a specialist coach for emerging voice artists ready to step into their power. Represented by Scout Management, Alexandra has over 20 years of experience as a professional voice artist. She has voiced campaigns for brands including the SA Government, Shiels Jewellers, L'Oréal, Mitsubishi, Foodland, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, and San Remo. Her work spans TVCs, radio campaigns, e-learning content, children's book narration, corporate narration, film, and meditation audio. Recently, she voiced the narratives for the SA Government's National Parks app, crafting sonic experiences that resonate deeply with audiences. Alexandra's journey began in the performing arts as a professional dancer, actor, and singer, giving her an intuitive understanding of how voice, emotion, and storytelling intertwine. She has successfully coached actors, singers, and dancers into the voice industry. As Founder of Voice Over Collective, a private Facebook group dedicated to emerging voice artists, Alexandra brings empathy, expertise, and genuine connection to her coaching, helping you discover your unique voice and build a career that is authentic and sustainable.
