Whether you’re submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI), applying for a showcase, or casually chatting with a programmer, being able to clearly and confidently communicate what your theatre/stage show is and why it matters is essential.
In this session, we’ll break down what makes a strong pitch: how to lead with the heart of your work, frame it for different kinds of presenters, and highlight the elements that matter most (audience, scale, creative vision, and value). We’ll also unpack common traps (like overloading with detail, using insider jargon, or forgetting to include the ask) and how to avoid them.
You’ll leave with a solid framework you can reuse across EOIs, emails, meetings, and presentations.
Please note: This event is at 12pm AEST (Sydney/Melbourne time) and 2pm NZ time. You will be sent a Zoom link to tune in.
