Paige Walker
Paige Walker is a voice, dialect & text coach hailing from NYC who’s been working in Sydney for the last 26 years. Starting her career in theatre, she’s leaped into work across film, television, theatre and private coaching to assist both actors and commercial speakers in creating a vocal space that goes beyond simple sound shifts. Paige believes and teaches that voice work is a collaboration of vocal, the physical, the mental and a mastery of imagery - which all combine to create character.Paige’s background in theatre, aerials and dance has given her a unique perspective on the fusion of what makes a voice genuine & honest. She helps you build the muscle memory needed so, on the day, you get to do the work of the character and the storytelling. In theatre, Paige is currently finishing up with the Australian tour of the Michael Jackson musical, while continuing her work with the Broadway company. On set, she started the year on the Tom Hanks film Greyhound, and is now on set for NCIS Sydney ,with still more exploration of ‘seeing’ sound and all the nuances of language.
