This event is part of the Equity Health & Wellness Series. With support from the Actors’ Benevolent Fund of NSW, we will run a series of live stream sessions to provide creative professionals with the specific tools and information needed as to survive and thrive in the current climate. Resilience is two things: the capacity to withstand difficulties and to rebuild after adversity. Resilience is normally an essential quality but in 2020 it is more important than ever before. In a series of livestreams with psychologist Julie Crabtree we will unlock the secrets of resilience as identified from years of research. We will also show you strategies you use to build resilience in yourself. The first livestream on Monday October 12 will look at the some of the key qualities we know are associated with resilience including your belief systems, the ability to be flexible and adaptable and the kinds of personal disciplines you need. These themes will be developed and expanded on over two further livestreams as you learn the vital skill of developing resilience.
