“Anxiety is a persistent feeling of nervousness and worry, and a sense that something is going to happen” – Dr. Julie Crabtree. Anxiety seems to be particularly prevalent for those in the performance industries.  But what is anxiety and what can cause us to feel anxious?  What happens when we feel anxious for extended periods of time? Over  three sessions we will be looking at anxiety focussing on overdriven thinking, catastrophic thinking and perfectionism. We will investigate some tools to help manage your anxiety and with this first of a 3-part series Julie will explore the physiological effects of anxiety with special emphasis on overdriven thinking. Please note: that this pre-recorded session will be available via YouTube and Facebook at 10.30am  and 7pm AEDT on Tuesday November 17. After registering you’ll be sent a link to tune in.  This event is part of the Equity Health & Wellness Series, supported by the Actors Benevolent Fund of NSW.
