Anna McCrossin-Owen is a Voice & Dialect Coach specialising in voice technique, text skills & dialects. She works internationally in film & TV - Deadloch 2; Hotel Cocaine; The Witcher; Star Trek; Z for Zachariah; About Time;Australian accent advisor for The Crown. Students currently work in the US, UK, Europe, South America and Canada. Locally Anna coaches in theatre (including a long-standing relationship with Melbourne Theatre Company), television, film, music theatre, animation, voiceover & in her private studio. Recent stage projects include POTUS; Death of a Salesman; A Christmas Carol; Lord of the Rings; Sunset Boulevard; Grease. Students in Fake, Spartacus, The Twelve, PokerFace, It Only Takes a Night. Production Dialect Coach- Spreadsheet; Blacksite; The Family Law- Series 1-3; Glitch; BERLIN & A View from the Bridge(MTC), The Kettering Incident. Anna also trains journalists in video presentation, voiceover & podcast for online news including at Fairfax Digital/The Age/Domain. She taught Spoken Voice at the Victorian College of the Arts. A graduate of VCA herself, Anna acted & sang professionally for 25 years. As a Director credits include- Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo & Juliet & A Comedy of Errors for Essential Theatre, Romeo & Juliet for Bravehearts at Australian Shakespeare Company, inthecompanyofpleasure's A Trilogy of Revolution for Melbourne Festival and solo, community, opera and musical projects. Anna has been honoured by the Victorian Green Room Association with a special award for 'Outstanding Contribution to the Melbourne Stage’.
