Synopsis

Maintaining an embodied voice can be supported by everyday exercises that keep voice and body connected. This workshop will explore handy exercises for centring the breath, connecting the voice to physicality and movement, and unlocking access to a full expressive range when required. What you can expect:
  • A reminder of the connection between body, breath and voice;
  • Exercises for accessing your resonating range from the depth of the chest to the mid-range of oral and sinus, up to the peaks of nasal and skull resonators;
  • Tricks for staying connected to the breadth and depth of your voice in auditions, rehearsal and performance;
Please note: this class will take place at 12pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) which is NSW/VIC/QLD/TAS Time. And 2pm New Zealand Time. You will be sent a Zoom link the day before and again the day off the livestream to tune in.
