Synopsis

Acting coach Emily Joy shares proven strategies for signing with your first agent, taking meetings, changing agents, and navigating the actor/agent relationship for long term career success. Please note: This class will take place online at 12pm AEST and 2pm NZ time.

    Emily Joy (she/her) is the owner of Joy Studio, a boutique acting & career coaching service in Naarm. Emily's actors have secured lead and support roles in many professional productions including Disney+, Amazon Prime, Paramount+, Stan, Netflix, ABC, and SBS. Emily's own acting credits include a series regular role in the Nine drama Human Error, as well as guest roles in Neighbours and Fisk. Emily has assisted casting sessions for Telford Leonard Casting, Greg Apps Casting and been a reader for McGregor Casting and Nathan Lloyd Casting. Emily has lectured at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Canberra, and Howard Fine Acting Studio.
