For actors looking to work in the Australian television industry, this class takes an in depth look at the casting process, how to get more auditions, plus call-back advice and more. Oftentimes your first television credit is the hardest to secure so by learning methods for gaining that elusive first role, actors will be equipped to continue to build a flourishing screen career. Please note: This class will take place online at 12pm AEST and 2pm NZ time.

Emily Joy
Emily Joy (she/her) is the owner of Joy Studio, a boutique acting & career coaching service in Naarm. Emily's actors have secured lead and support roles in many professional productions including Disney+, Amazon Prime, Paramount+, Stan, Netflix, ABC, and SBS. Emily's own acting credits include a series regular role in the Nine drama Human Error, as well as guest roles in Neighbours and Fisk. Emily has assisted casting sessions for Telford Leonard Casting, Greg Apps Casting and been a reader for McGregor Casting and Nathan Lloyd Casting. Emily has lectured at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Canberra, and Howard Fine Acting Studio.
