In this session Emily will discuss common actor roadblocks and practical ways to move through them. She will deep dive into the aspects that are required for success including securing representation, getting more auditions, networking and marketing as well as general wellbeing tips. Emily is passionate about helping actors achieve their goals and love the journey of being a performer. There will also be time for questions.

Emily Joy
Emily Joy (she/her) is the owner of Joy Studio, a boutique acting & career coaching service in Naarm. Emily's actors have secured lead and support roles in many professional productions including Disney+, Amazon Prime, Paramount+, Stan, Netflix, ABC, and SBS. Emily's own acting credits include a series regular role in the Nine drama Human Error, as well as guest roles in Neighbours and Fisk. Emily has assisted casting sessions for Telford Leonard Casting, Greg Apps Casting and been a reader for McGregor Casting and Nathan Lloyd Casting. Emily has lectured at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Canberra, and Howard Fine Acting Studio.
