Synopsis

Keen to learn more about the role of an intimacy coordinator and director? Want to get an insight into what you can expect from the process of working with one? Eager to get your hands on some industry standard modesty garments and get some experience with the choreography process? This workshop is designed for actors and other crew personnel who have maybe already had some experience, or are completely green to the inner workings of the intimacy process for stage and screen. We'll discuss the IC role and what they do from casting to choreography, work some scenes and get an understanding of what tools they bring to the room to deepen connection between actors and the stories and relationships they're expected to depict. Bring a notebook, some comfy clothes, and an open mind to learn more about how an IC can be your best friend when it comes to getting safety and freedom within boundaries and consent based practice.
