Equity’s Live Stream Program continues with Mark Kilmurry,  Artistic Director, Ensemble Theatre (Sydney) as our guest. Mark will talk to a group of Australian and NZ Equity members online about the actor/theatre director relationship and navigating your career in the theatre. Please note: 12pm is Australian Eastern Day Light Savings Time. Selection is by ballot and successful participants will be sent details about how to tune it.

    Mark Kilmurry is an actor, writer and director, originally from Coventry in the UK, now based in Sydney. He first came to Australia in 1991 with his award-winning theatre company The Snarling Beasties, and moved permanently in 1996.He is currently the Artistic Director of the Ensemble Theatre in Kirribilli after first working there as an actor in 2002, then becoming associate director, co-artistic director and from 2015 sole artistic director.Mark has written, directed and performed in countless theatre productions around the world, from London to New York to Palmerston North, and has also worked in film and television, including writing and directing his feature film Being Gavin (2019) that has screened at many international film festivals.Some of his theatrical credits include: THE ODD COUPLE; The Comedy Theatre, Melbourne & Theatre Royal, Sydney for Crossroads Live Australia.
