Synopsis

Following her introductory zoom session on June 2, voice actor Dianne Weller will work with six actors live in the AFTRS studios in Sydney directing characters from video games. This is an opportunity to try out your skills and put some of the theory discussed on June 2 into practice. This class is open to all levels of VO and acting experience and  will be informative, fun and dynamic and will involve instructional and interactive elements. It is recommended you attend the introductory zoom session on June 2 with Diana if you wish to participate in this AFTRS session. Please note: Selected participants will need enough time to travel to AFTRS in Moore Park, Sydney, meet Dianne and work with her for the 90 minutes. Please do not apply unless you have this time available. This session will be livestreamed to an audience of Equity auditors/observers.

    Dianne Weller trained as an Actor here in Australia in the 90s before embarking on an international career in Acting and Voice Over. She won a coveted Society of Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS) award in the US for her performance in the VR Game Hubris. She has been working in the Video Game industry for the last 7 years on Titles like Wolfenstein Youngblood, Elite Dangerous and Home Sweet Home. Dianne is passionate about the Video Games industry and how actors can work with Directors and Game Developers to bring amazing characters to life.
