Synopsis

Dr Andrea Moor is offering 20 Equity members who are currently in lockdown and unable to work a free introductory five-week course in Practical Aesthetics. The course will take place every Wednesday night from 6.30-9pm AEST, from Sept 22-October 20. Participants would also participate in a masterclass in week six that would be open to all Equity members.  Practical Aesthetics is both an acting technique and a philosophy. Simple, honest and straightforward, the technique de-mystifies the process of acting, giving actors an empowering set of analytical and physical tools.  Recent graduates of acting programs are encouraged to apply.

    Andrea Moor is a master teacher of Practical Aesthetics and co-founder of Practical Aesthetics Australia. Andrea is currently senior lecturer in Acting at QUT but also manages to still work as an actor.  She has taught PA at QUT, NIDA, WAAPA, LAMDA and in private practice. Andrea is dedicated to Actor’s wellbeing and creates a very safe and nurturing environment for actors to explore their craft.
