Synopsis

Are you an Equity member who identifies as part of the LGBTQIA+ community?  Have you ever been to an acting workshop entirely for, and led by, members of the queer community?  Join LGBTQIA+ actor and acting coach Matt Young (Heart of the Man, Gayby Baby, Lumber, XYXY) in a workshop designed as a safe and free space for queer creatives. This is an opportunity for four (4) participant actors to apply to work with Matt Young, a LGBTQIA+ actor and acting coach, and founder of Tukuna Acting Club, established in Suva, Fiji in 2016.  Upon selection, participants will have the opportunity to perform and workshop a monologue from scripts provided, or to offer material they have sourced themselves. (Please note this opportunity is open to all members of Equity to participate as observers who will have the opportunity to ask questions of the instructor at the end of the class.)
