  After completing a BSC in Marine Biology and Zoology Danny found herself drawn to acting. Abandoning hopes of becoming the next Attenborough, she went on to study drama at the Victorian College of the Arts. Upon graduating she appeared in several slightly average TV roles but eventually decided the other side of the camera was far more enjoyable. She segued into casting, cutting her teeth as an assistant and associate at Barrett Casting for 6 years, during which time she worked on many notable films. She established her own casting company in 2010, and over the last decade has worked with empathy and good humour on a diverse range of commercials, TV and film productions. Discovering actors like Aaron McGrath - in a wide sweep for My Place 2 (ABC TV/Matchbox pictures) - fuelled her passion for unearthing new talent and tackling challenging casting searches. Her credits since then have included the AACTA award winning Deadlock (ABC TV/Every Cloud) in which 75% of the cast were non-actors sourced from the Northern Rivers area of NSW. In one of these open casting calls she discovered, Thomas Weatherall (soon to feature in RFDS). Most recently, Danny assembled a fresh and diverse cast for the upcoming Stan/All3 series, Eden.
