Romy Hooper
Romy is an actor, intimacy coordinator, audiobook narrator and commercial voice artist based in Tāmaki, Auckland. A Toi Whakaari graduate, she has been an active member of the stage and screen industry for over 20 years. She has narrated audiobooks for over a decade and has extensive experience in the world of commercial and gaming voice overs. She works with Blind + Low Vision NZ and has narrated over 100 titles for their members, including popular magazine periodicals, she is an Australian and New Zealand accent narrator for US based audiobook production companies Deyan Audio and Podium Audio, and has just completed the 6 book romantic fiction series 'A Boss in a Billion' from her home studio - set up in a wardrobe. She is brand voice for Chorus, BP and voices several characters in popular NZ game Path of Exile. She also narrates for Audiobooks NZ, and hosts their podcast SoundSalad interviewing authors and those in the NZ audiobook and publishing industry. She is a proactive member of Equity NZ and spearheads a subcommittee for regulation of the use of artificial intelligence in commercial and long form voice production. -
Amber-Rose Henshall
Amber-Rose is an NZ actor and voice artist and the founder and director of LOOPY. Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, LOOPY cast and direct loop group and ADR for local and international Film & Television. Proudly promoting the diverse and skilled talent of local actors to the world. Recent projects include Minecraft, Tina, Maxxxine, Heart Eyes, Friends Like Her, Madam, The Gone S1&2, After the Party, Our Flag Means Death, Rings of Power and more. Amber-Rose as an Actor, Voice Artist, Dancer and Stunt Performer has been working on stage and screen for 30 years. Since appearing on Xena as a child she has performed, danced, trained, choreographed, produced and coached around the world from London, Tokyo, New York, Sydney and across NZ with a resume of stage and screen contracts as varied as they get.
