Join Kym Jackson, co-founder of the Secret Actor Society and author of The Hollywood Survival Guide For Actors, for this 90 minute seminar. In film and TV, much of your work should eventually come from recommendations or re-hires from filmmakers and CDs who have worked with you before.  To ensure you are remembered as a pro, Kym will share a step-by-step checklist of standard on set protocols, homework you can do before and after the shoot, how to and how not to network on set, how professional actors behave on set, and other tips and advice to ensure you are an actor who is recommended and rehired by filmmakers throughout the industry.

As a regular speaker for organizations including SAG-AFTRA, MEAA, WIFT, Spotlight, Kym has taught thousands of actors to successfully pursue a career acting professionally in the film & TV industry.She is the founder of the Secret Actor Society app and membership site, which connects actors worldwide with casting directors, provides a supportive community, and contains masterclasses on how to navigate the film industry as an actor. Kym’s mission is to share knowledge with her peers and the next generation of talent.Kym is also a SAG-AFTRA convention delegate, who in 2022 co-authored and gained unanimous support from the delegation for her resolution to limit self tape lengths - a key point in the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike negotiations.
