Damon Herriman
Damon was born in Adelaide, Australia and has been acting since the age of eight. His extensive credits are a testament to his versatility and standing. In 2018, Damon was honoured with the Australians in Film: Orry-Kelly International Award for Extraordinary Contribution to the Australian and USA Screen Industry. On US television, Damon is best known for his recurring role as Dewey Crowe in the critically acclaimed FX series, Justified opposite Timothy Olyphant. His most recent credits include Barry Jenkins' Amazon Limited Series The Underground Railroad and Perpetual Grace, LTD, alongside Jacki Weaver and Ben Kingsley (Epix/Stan). His other international television credits include the UK BBC One series, The Serpent, David Fincher’s series Mindhunter (playing Charles Manson for the second time in a year), the recurring role of Mr. Jones in CBS’s Vegas opposite Dennis Quaid, Breaking Bad, Wilfred, The Unit, Cold Case and the Vince Gilligan police drama Battle Creek. His series regular roles include the Starz cable drama, Flesh and Bone (2016 Golden Globe Nomination: Best Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television) and Quarry for Cinemax. Damon has also written and/or directed many successful short films, including the Tropfest finalists They and The Date and was awarded Best Screenplay and Audience Award for his short film Soar (writer/performer). Hoa Xuande
Hoa Xuande is an Australian actor of Vietnamese descent, best known for his role of The Captain in the HBO/A24 television series The Sympathizer, starring opposite Robert Downey Jr and Sandra Oh. His other screen credits include Romeo in Last King of the Cross (Helium Pictures/Paramount Pictures Australia), Lin in the live action remake of Cowboy Bebop (Netflix), Khoa in Hungry Ghosts (Matchbox Pictures/SBS), Elvin in Ronny Chieng International Student (Sticky Pictures/ABCTV), Daniel in Fighting Season (Foxtel), Walker in Top of the Lake 2: China Girl (See Saw Productions), Lyndon Patterson in Cleverman 2 (GPTV Productions) and Nathan Wong in Black Comedy (ABCTV). Hoa has also appeared in the feature films A Stitch in Time (Haddon Motion Pictures), OtherLife (Cherry Road Films) and Careless Love (Spirited Films). Ashton Lash
Ashton’s professional debut was in the original Australian company of Hamilton in 2021 as a swing. From there, she worked her way up to be Dance Captain for the Australian & New Zealand tour from 2022-2023. Since then, she has continued on with her Hamilton journey and is currently a swing in the Hamilton International Tour. -
Lasarus Ratuere
Lasarus Ratuere is an Australian actor of Fijian heritage. A graduate of The Australian Performing Arts Conservatory, Lasarus’ stage credits include Paul Witt in the Belvoir 2015 production of Kill the Messenger, for which he was nominated for both Helpmann and Sydney Theatre Awards. Lasarus’ most recent Television roles include Felix Vatubua in The Castaways (Paramount+ UK/BBC Studios), Ryan in Irreverent (Peacock/Netflix), Felix Spears in Pieces of Her (Netflix), and his most recent Feature Film credits including Ishikawa in Dreamworks/Paramount Pictures sci-fi marvel Ghost in the Shell with Scarlett Johansson, Michael Leitch the Japanese Rugby World Cup captain in The Brighton Miracle (Eastpool Films/Shogun Productions) and Corporal Buddy Lea in Danger Close (Deep Water Flims/Red Dune Films). -
Catherine Văn-Davies
Catherine Văn-Davies is a multi-award-winning Vietnamese-Australian stage and screen actor based in Sydney. Born in Canberra, spending her early childhood in Bogor, Indonesia and her school/tertiary years in Brisbane. She graduated from QUT with a BFA (Acting) in 2006 and trained at HB Studio, New York in 2010. She has had an extensive career in theatre, performing at major arts institutions around the country and internationally, and in the last couple of years has been a new face in Australian television. Mark Kilmurry
Mark Kilmurry is an actor, writer and director, originally from Coventry in the UK, now based in Sydney. He first came to Australia in 1991 with his award-winning theatre company The Snarling Beasties, and moved permanently in 1996. He is currently the Artistic Director of the Ensemble Theatre in Kirribilli after first working there as an actor in 2002, then becoming associate director, co-artistic director and from 2015 sole artistic director. Mark has written, directed and performed in countless theatre productions around the world, from London to New York to Palmerston North, and has also worked in film and television, including writing and directing his feature film Being Gavin (2019) that has screened at many international film festivals. Helen Dallimore
Helen Dallimore is an actress, singer, director and writer. A NIDA graduate, she has enjoyed a successful career in theatre, musical theatre, film and television both in Australia and in the UK. She created the role of ‘Glinda’ in the West End production of Wicked opposite Idina Menzel and played ‘Cinderella’ in the Olivier Award Winning Regent’s Park production of Into the Woods. She won the Helpmann Award for her performance in Legally Blonde the Musical. Her recent stage roles include Girl From the North Country for GWB Entertainment, The Wharf Revue, Muriel’s Wedding: The Musical for the Sydney Theatre Company, as well as ‘Judy Garland’ in End of the Rainbow for State Theatre Company South Australia, garnering critical acclaim. Her many screen credits include Mr Accident, Russian Doll, Secret Bridesmaid’s Business, Midsomer Murders, Postcard Bandit, The Day of the Roses, Two Heads Creek, North Shore, The Moodys, House Husbands, and the Emmy Award winning Hardball. Helen played ‘Olivia O’Neill’ in Jungle/Channel Nine’s Here Come the Habibs, for which she was also a writer. Other writing credits include the ABC comedy, Sando. She has been directing theatre for over twenty years, most recent credits including A Life in the Theatre for Darlinghurst Theatre and High Society, The Fantasticks, and Everybody Loves Lucy at Hayes Theatre Company. -
Leigh Pickford
Casting Director: Having completed a BA in Film and Media Studies at Middlesex University in London, Leigh began his career working with esteemed film director and two-time Palme D’Or winner Ken Loach. Leigh worked with Loach and producer Rebecca O’Brien for five years and was part of the founding team of their production company Sixteen Films. Over that time he worked on a variety of film and television productions. Upon emigrating to Australia in 2004 Leigh’s interest in the craft of acting peaked his desire to pursue a career as a Casting Director. Leigh found the unique challenge of finding and shaping a cast as an authentic representation of a cinematic story was something that stimulated him greatly, leading to a deep passion for the craft. He joined Maura Fay Casting in 2004 and since that time Leigh has cemented his place as one of the most respected and sought after casting directors in Australia. Monica Keightley
Mollison Keightley Management enables the creation and development of careers in the performing arts. Our highly experienced team come from diverse backgrounds including law, producing, marketing/PR and performing. We work in close partnership with our clients to help them achieve their artistic and career goals, whether locally, nationally or globally. Monica Keightley has an arts/law degree and has worked at law firms Purves Clarke Richards (now Gadens) in Melbourne and Ashurst in London. Though artist management has occupied the greater part of her working life, past gigs include fronting a jazz trio in Melbourne, touring and producing children’s theatre as a university student, helping run and write for an indie theatre magazine, and performing in Australia, Europe and the UK. She began running MKM (then Barbara Leane and Associates) in 2003. -
Monica Sayers
Monica Sayers is a proud Australian born Chinese artist working as an actor, voiceover, yoga teacher and DJ. Having studied at Actors Centre Australia & ATYP, Monica continued her training at NIDA, graduating with a Bachelor in Dramatic Arts in 2004. Over the years she has worked extensively across different mediums including TV’s - The Messenger, The Unlisted, Rake, Love My Way, Last Man Standing, All Saints, The Royal (UK) and The Clinic (IRE). She has featured in countless commercials, corporate training videos, short films and voiceovers. In 2022 Monica recorded her first audiobook Raised By Wolves, an autobiography by food and drink editor/presenter Jess Ho, accounting her life in the hospitality industry and growing up in a migrant family in suburban Melbourne. Monica’s main theatre highlights are Romeo and Juliet (Bell Shakespeare) Chimerica and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui (Sydney Theatre Co) Hay Fever (Melbourne Theatre Company) Moon Rabbit Rising (Belvoir 25A) Let The Right One In (Darlinghurst Theatre) Gentlemen Prefer Blondes the musical (Hayes Theatre) Monica is now moving into directing pieces for stage and screen. Last year she acted and co-directed a short film In A Moment, a Seb Berry production. She stepped into assistant director and dramaturg for the Diploma Stage and Screen course Showcase, helmed by Darren Yap, and in February this year, Monica directed an excerpt from Eric Jiang’s play Noodle Salad, to celebrate Lunar New Year, produced by Slanted Theatre and Nation Theatre of Parramatta part of Dragon Tales. Following on, Monica directed two pieces at Nida - a circus themed cabaret and a concert style performance with the diploma students. Monica is a successful applicant in the 2024 Staging the World Mentorship Program by National Theatre of Parramatta, working closely with international director Mina Morita from Crowded Fire Theatre Company San Francisco. This will take place over two weeks in September and October. -
Danielle Cormack
Danielle Cormack is a Producer, Director and award winning actor with an impressive stage and screen career spanning decades. From 70s hippies to Amazonian warriors, she has portrayed diverse roles in films such as "Topless Women Talk About Their Lives," "The Price of Milk," and "Via Satellite." Beginning on stage, Cormack has gained recognition both in Australia and New Zealand working for MainStage and independent theatre companies. She has received acclaim for her work across all mediums especially in notable TV shows like “Secret City” "Rake" "Underbelly:Razor" and "Wentworth." In 2017 Cormack co-founded Four One One Productions for which she co-produced and directed the 2025 AACTA nominated short film “Why we Fight”. She is slated to star in and Executive Produce the feature film “Who’s Afraid” that is based on the stage play of the same name that she co-created. After wrapping season 3 of The Twelve she is developing her first feature, which she will direct and has co-written. Currently titled IN THE WAKE - it is a New Zealand/German co-production. She also does costume design, making her a multifaceted presence in the entertainment industry. -
Julian Kuo
Julian Kuo is a multi-disciplinary performer from Sydney, Australia. Working professionally since the age of 11, he has worked in Opera, Contemporary Music, Cabaret and Musical Theatre. He is also a passionate music educator, working privately, for The Arts Unit, The Australian Performing Arts Grammar School, amongst others. Kuo holds a Bachelor of Music (B.Mus) majoring in Musical Theatre from The Australian Institute of Music (AIM), graduating in 2010. Julian has produced and starred in several Cabarets including Broadway Bard(Written and dir. Melvyn Morrow) and his own work, Interpretations: The Music of Cole Porter, and He Said. She Said. (co-written by Holly Summers-Clarke) as part of Sydney Fringe Festival. Independent stage credits include; Spring Awakening (dir. Mitchell Butel) for ATYP, Bernado in West Side Story (dir. Craig Stewart) for Packemin Productions and Craig McDermott in American Psycho (dir. Alexander Berlage) for BB Arts and Two Door Productions. Main Stage credits include; Margaret Mead in HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical (dir. Cameron Menzies) for David M. Hawkins, and the Australian and International Touring Production of the Broadway Blockbuster, HAMILTON: An American Musical (dir. Thomas Kail) for Michael Cassel Group. -
Charley Sanders
Charley is a director, performer, and writer, and Co Artistic Director of House of Sand. She holds an Adv. Dip. Arts (Acting) from AC Arts and an MFA (Directing) from NIDA and has received an Adelaide Critics Circle Award, numerous Fringe Awards from festivals around Australia and New Zealand, and nominations for an ATG Curtain Call Award, a Broadway World Award and two further Adelaide Critics Circle Awards. Directorial credits Include That Was Friday, Pedal, Castles, Fear of Eggs, all h0urs, REVOLT. SHE SAID. REVOLT AGAIN. and The Split (HoS) Welcome The Bright World (HoS & STCSA), Titus Andronicus; Mother Courage; O Go My Man; Slavs; 5 Years (ACArts) Trans Scripts (Paul Lucas Prod. NYC) Infected (NIDA) Love Child, Seven Jewish Children, The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later and Like A Fishbone (Early Worx). She is qualified and regularly works as an audio describer for blind and low vision audiencs and works as a business consultant to creative entrepreneurs through Creative+Business. Among many arts management, mentorship and advocacy roles, Charley has held positions including Programs Producer for the Sydney Fringe Festival (2019 to 2021) and Program Manager Pride Amplified for Sydney World Pride (2022). Charley is the LGBTQIA+ Identified Co-Chair of the MEAA Equity Diversity Committee for the 2023-4 term and a proud life-long Equity member. John Batchelor
John Batchelor is a familiar face to Australian audiences following his 5 season stint on Sea Patrol as ‘Charge’ and as the larger than life character Peeto in the AACTA winning film Red Dog. John’s feature film highlights include the Chinese/Australian feature The Whistleblower, The Tenderhook, Chasing Comets, Walt Disney Pictures’ Inspector Gadget 2, Danny Deckchair, Peter Rabbit 2. In addition to Sea Patrol, John’s television highlights include Barons, Underbelly: Razor as Kate Leigh’s underworld ‘right hand man’ Wally Tomlinson; The Great Mint Swindle (Tony Lewandowski), Brock (Larry Perkins), Harrow (Clayton Pike), The Secret Daughter (Nick Mackay), Home and Away (Winston Markman) and Devil’s Dust (Jack Rush QC) However, John’s first love is the stage and there he has enjoyed such productions including The Odd Couple – Crossroads Live, Storm Boy - MTC, The Way of the World, Festen and Top Coat - STC, The Underpants – Company B, Holding Achilles (World Premiere) – Dead Puppets Society/Legs on the Wall, Antony and Cleopatra, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, Troilus + Cressida, Julius Caesar – Bell Shakespeare, Christmas at Turkey Beach, Oz Shorts and Managing Carmen (World Premiere)- QTC. His 5 years working in Brisbane also gained him 2 Matilda Awards for his work in Queensland Theatre.
