Australian Equity Lifetime Achievement Award

This award was launched in 2009 to honour the achievements of a leading Australian performer who has had a distinguished career and been an inspiration to other Australian performers. This award is proudly presented by Media Super.

How it works

  • Members of MEAA Equity are invited to nominate an Australian performer who they feel should be honoured with the Equity Lifetime Achievement Award.
  • Nominees are those who have not only had a distinguished career as a performer, but also demonstrated great leadership and provided mentoring that has been of enormous benefit and inspiration to their colleagues.
  • Winners are selected by members of National Performers’ Committee.
  • A gala tribute is held by the Equity Foundation to honour the winner.
